1. Cancel a renewal
Open the terminal, go to Membership / API benefits and select Manage subscription to open the Creem billing portal. Cancel before the next scheduled charge shown there. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, with access retained until then. After expiry, your account returns to Explorer.
If you cannot access the portal, email support before renewal using your account email and include the subscription or order ID. We will help cancel future charges. Canceling renewal is separate from requesting a refund.
2. When we provide a refund
Contact us if you were charged more than once for the same purchase or if we cannot deliver the paid service, including paid access that cannot be activated or a material service failure we cannot resolve. After verifying the issue, we refund the duplicate charge or the amount attributable to the service we cannot provide.
Except where required by law, we do not offer refunds solely for a change of mind, unused API credits, forgetting to cancel a renewal, trading losses or dissatisfaction with a weather outcome. There is no general money-back trial. This policy does not override any applicable cancellation, withdrawal, refund or other mandatory consumer rights.
3. How to request a refund
Email support@weathertick.com with your account email, order or subscription ID, charge date and a short explanation. For a service problem, include the affected endpoint, time and error message if available. Do not send passwords, full API keys or card details. We aim to respond within three business days.
Approved refunds are processed through Creem to the original payment method where supported. Your bank or payment provider determines when funds appear. We will confirm the amount and any change to the paid access period. A refund does not replace cancellation of future renewals; please request both when that is what you intend.
4. Free access and test payments
Explorer is free. A checkout explicitly marked as test mode uses simulated payments, including the USD 1 test subscriptions, so it does not result in a real charge or a real-money refund. Public paid checkout is not yet open.
